StormTracker 4 Forecaster Isabella Fredrickson has what you need to know on this StormTracker 4 Alert Day and your Easter Sunday forecast

STORMTRACKER 4 ALERT DAY — Today will be a very windy day ahead of a wet and windy Easter and Monday.

A WIND ADVISORY has been issued for all of southern Arizona starting today at noon through tonight.

Today will be mostly sunny, but expect some clouds. These clouds will eventually turn to rain early tomorrow morning. We can expect to see the showers begin as early as 5 am tomorrow.

Today and tomorrow will be very windy. Sustained wind between 25 and 35 mph and gusts up to 45 to 50 mph are expected both today and Sunday. Blowing dust is also possible especially north of Tucson and along I-10 in Cochise county.

The rain will begin tomorrow, so expect a rainy Easter! The latest models are giving us rain totals between 0.34″ and 1.25″ between Sunday and late Monday.

If thunderstorms develop they will stay north of Tucson. No severe storms are expected.

Snow will only fall near the mountain tops. A few flakes will fall around 7000′ and close to a foot of snow could fall near the peaks. We are tracking 6″ to 12″ of snow.

Conditions will begin to clear Tuesday, and by Wednesday through Friday we are tracking upper 70s to low 80s.
