The Prescott Valley Police Department (PVPD) is looking for outstanding, motivated people to serve as police officers.

The Department will be hosting its next test date on May 4th at 8 AM.

Attendance at this testing event is by invitation only. Please complete the steps below to be considered for testing:

To be considered for employment with the Town of Prescott Valley, applicants must submit an online application and complete an online AZPOST Personal History Statement.

First: Go to my.azpost.gov, the website for Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training, to create an account and complete your Personal History Statement online. You will be issued a form ID number. Write this number down. Click the “share” button and check the box next to Prescott Valley Police Department.

Second: Apply online at: www.prescottvalley-az.gov/229/employment for police officer trainees and laterals. Once your application is submitted, a background investigator will contact you to obtain your form ID number, send you documents, and schedule you for testing.
