The shooting happened on the Loop 101 in Scottsdale on Saturday afternoon. Here are the latest details.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — Two drivers are facing charges after a road rage incident led to a shooting on the Loop 101 in Scottsdale, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

DPS said the incident took place just after 1 p.m. on Saturday when there was a road rage incident between two drivers headed north on the freeway in Scottsdale.

The road rage incident led to a crash that blocked the left lanes of the freeway just south of the Shea Boulevard exit. One of the drivers then shot at the other driver.

No one was hurt, and no one was hit by the bullets.

On Sunday, DPS identified the shooter as 27-year-old Conner Cullins and said he was driving a red Jeep SUV that can be seen in footage from an Arizona Department of Transportation camera in the area. Cullins has been booked into the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office’s Fourth Avenue Jail and is facing charges of endangerment, aggravated assault and drive by shooting.

The man who was driving a white Dodge pickup truck that is also seen in the ADOT camera footage was not booked into jail, but DPS said they are in the process of filing endangerment charges against him. This man has not been identified.

This is a developing story and more details will be added as they are made available.
