FORECAST: Rain in the Valley

PHOENIX — Rain and snow are still falling across parts of our state as another storm system clips by the Four Corners.

Showers have been impacting parts of the Valley this evening and chances for more continue until around 9 p.m. Watch out for wind gusts at 30 to 40 mph, too.

Up north, snow levels are now around 6,000 to 6,500 feet. Scattered snow showers are impacting the Mogollon Rim, but accumulations will be light. Most spots will only pick up an inch or two through tonight.

Our forecast starts to dry out again on Wednesday as high pressure returns. That will also bring another big warm-up by the end of the week.

Valley highs will climb into the mid to upper 70s on Wednesday and into the mid 80s Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

But, we are tracking another storm system moving in over Easter weekend.

Winds will start to pick up ahead of it on Friday and continue to be an issue on Saturday and Sunday too. Gusts will peak near 30 mph here in the Valley, but could top 40 mph across the high country.

Rain and snow will start to fall in parts of our state as early as Saturday evening and continue throughout Easter Sunday.

Rain and snow showers could linger into the start of next week, too.

Stay tuned for updates on how much rain and snow we could get out of this storm as we get closer.
