STORMTRACKER 4 ALERT — StormTracker 4 Alert days have been issued for Sunday and Monday.

A storm system will be moving through late tonight and lag into Tuesday, bringing much colder temperatures, gusty winds, and a chance of rain and snow.

Tonight after 11 pm showers and possibly a thunderstorm are expected. Rain will ramp up overnight into tomorrow morning.

Sunday, a Wind Advisory is in effect for all of Graham, Greenlee and Cochise Counties, as well as eastern parts of Pima County and northeast parts of Santa Cruz County. Gusts around 45 mph are possible. Tie down any loose outdoor items before then.

Models are showing rainfall totals between .25 of an inch to .75 of an inch in Tucson. Expect ponding water on roads and low visibility. Snow levels will drop to 5,000 ft., but snow totals will remain above 7,000 ft. between 6 to 12 inches. 

Highs are expected to drop 15-20 degrees colder than average. This system will dissipate by Tuesday Afternoon and we will see warming temperatures through the second half of next week.
