STORMTRACKER 4 – The area of low pressure that has impacted our weather the past few days is STILL hanging around!
Expect breezy conditions this afternoon with gusts mainly between 10 and 20 mph. The best chance for showers will be north and northeast of Tucson in the White Mountains. Temperatures will warm back into the low 70s for the warmest spots today before a big warm-up tomorrow!
This low pressure system will finally head eastward tonight and this will allow a ridge of high pressure to build in its place. Temperatures could heat up into the low 80s as early as tomorrow with more of the same through Saturday!
Meanwhile, the wind will pick up this weekend as another system approaches from the Pacific Northwest. This system will bring colder temperatures and a chance for showers beginning Sunday. On and off showers will be possible through Tuesday before we dry out. Temperatures drop into the mid 60s early next week but warmer temperatures follow the second half of next week.
