STORMTRACKER 4 – The system that brought the rain and snow this past Friday is still hanging around today through midweek!

The biggest impact today will be strong wind along with isolated showers, storms and high elevation snow. The wind will pick up by mid morning, especially east of Tucson where gusts between 30 and 40 mph will be possible. The best chance for rain, storms and snow will be north and north east of Tucson in Pinal, Graham and Greenlee County. Isolated storms could also pack a punch with gusty wind, hail and blowing dust possible.

Rain totals will be light with only trace amounts to 0.10″ expected with higher amounts possible where storms develop. The Pinaleno and White Mountains could pick up an additional 3″ to 5″ of snow!

Temperatures push into the low to mid 70s for the warmest spots this afternoon but we’re tracking a big warm-up by the end of the week and into the weekend. Highs will heat up into the low 80s by Friday and Saturday! At this time another system will impact us by early next week dropping temperatures into the 60s by Monday with a chance for rain and snow. More details to come!

  • Today: Windy with isolated PM showers (20%). High: 74°
  • Tonight: Mostly clear and cold. Low: 45°
