Arizona’s Paulius Murauskas, Filip Borovicanin enter transfer portal | Sports

TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) – Arizona freshman forward Paulius Murauskas and sophomore guard Filip Borovicanin have entered the transfer portal.

Both players announced their intention to transfer Monday and can now be contacted by other schools.

Murauskas, a top recruit from Lithuania in the 2023 class, played in 23 games for the Wildcats this season, scoring 63 points, including 42 of them on threes.

Borovicanin played in 20 games, averaging 5.6 minutes per contest and 2.3 points. The sophomore from Serbia scored 11 and 8 points in the Wildcats’ first two homes games, but saw his playing time dip down the stretch.

Arizona currently has 11 scholarship players, not including seniors that could come back with their covid eligibility year.
