(KVOA) – The Arizona men’s basketball team has its Sweet 16 opponent.
The Wildcats will square off against No. 6 seed Clemson Thursday, following the Tigers upset of third-seeded Baylor in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The 72-64 victory marked the Tigers’ first win over a top three seed in tournament play since 1980.
Arizona and Clemson will be the first matchup in the Sweet 16, with tip-off set for Thursday at 4:09 p.m. PT from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The Wildcats and Tigers will be joined in LA by North Carolina and Alabama.
Thursday’s game will be televised on CBS.
