The No. 12 ranked Arizona Western College Matadors Baseball team (22-6) opened up a three-game series with Community Christian (6-6) with a 9-0 win on Thursday afternoon at Walt Kammann Baseball Field.
Nathan Houston put together a two-hit game as Matadors’ starting pitcher Carlos Uribe tossed five shutout innings, striking out five batters.
