Chandler Nature at Night Connects with Nature After Dark

Visit the Chandler Nature Center for Nature at Night, a unique after-hours event that inspires adventure in visitors of all ages while focusing on environmental advocacy and encouraging responsible outdoor recreation. This free event takes place March 23 from 6-9 p.m.

“Back for its second year, Nature at Night is set to ignite curiosity and passion for nature among our community,” says Derek Gerson, event organizer and Chandler Nature Center Supervisor. “It is designed to nurture the love of the outdoors for nature lovers of all ages, leaving attendees with a newfound appreciation for conservation. Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or a newcomer to outdoor exploration, this event has something for everyone.”

Nature at Night offers various activities that come alive under the stars. Enjoy guided night hikes through Veterans Oasis Park, participate in nature-inspired crafts and hands-on activities, sit by the bonfire, visit local food trucks and enter to win several great raffle prizes.

Many exciting exhibitors will be onsite with additional activities. Meet wild creatures, enjoy interactive activities and learn how to explore our local habitats safely. Vendors include Wild at Heart, REI, Arizona Conservation Corps, AZ Bat Rescue, Desert Nature Alliance and many more.

Nature at Night will take place at the Chandler Nature Center, located at 4050 E. Chandler Heights Road. Please remember to dress appropriately to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities.
