Phoenix Zoo: Baby goat naming contest open to public until April 12 | Community

Recently, two of the Nigerian dwarf goats at the Phoenix Zoo, Hazel and Moth, both gave birth to adorable kids (baby goats).

Hazel had girl triplets and Moth had twin boys. The girls were born on March 7 and the boys followed on March 12.

The Phoenix Zoo is now looking to our community to select names for them!

Zoo keepers have selected groupings of names to choose from and you can vote for your favorite at phoenixzoo.org from now until Friday, April 12. The winning names will be announced on Monday, April 15.

Naming options for the girls:

Peanut, Cashew, Walnut

Peaches, Kiwi, Mango

Buttercup, Blossom, Bubbles – (Powerpuff Girls)

Naming options for the boys: 

Bambi and Flower

Cricket and Grasshopper

Firefly and Beetle

Voting runs now until April 12 at phoenixzoo.org/goat-vote.
