Dance changed the lives of Fred Astaire Dance Studios North Scottsdale owners Roman Myrkin and Kateryna Spasitel, as well as their team of instructors, and they’re determined to share that experience with others.
Originally from Ukraine, the owners bring a wealth of dance expertise and a passion for instruction to their new studio.
“In Ukraine, we owned a highly successful studio, and we want to replicate that here,” Myrkin said.
“In north Scottsdale, we have one of the biggest dance studios in the US with two dance floors, 11 instructors with credentials like USA National Finalist, World and European Championship finalists. All our instructors from Ukraine are very passionate about dancing and they would love to share their knowledge and experience with students.”
Whether seeking a new hobby, social enhancement, improved physical and emotional well-being or elevated dance skills, Fred Astaire North Scottsdale has a class for it. The studio offers a variety of options for dance instruction, including private lessons and group classes in social dancing, salsa, bachata, swing, latina, ballroom rhythm, smooth, wedding dance and advanced competitive classes.
The studio also hosts special events, like the studio party coming up Wednesday, Nov. 29, where Myrkin said there will be “drinks, food and a lot of dancing.”
Located at 9181 E. Bell Road Suite C101 in Scottsdale, the studio is open from from noon to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, visit fredastaire.com/north-scottsdale or call 480-473-0388.
