Phoenix, Utah tied entering 2nd quarter

The Phoenix Suns (6-6) play at the Utah Jazz (4-8) for this second time this weekend.

Phoenix has won its last two games, including its second NBA In-Season Tournament game on Friday and is 1-1 in West Group A play. Phoenix is looking to get above the .500 mark again after the team was 2-1 after beating Utah at home on Oct. 28.

Utah is 2-1 in group play, and have lost five of its previous seven.

Phoenix is currently eighth in the Western conference standings, whereas Utah’s 12th.

Suns lead Jazz to end 1st quarter

Phoenix and Utah are tied 30-30 entering the second quarter.

Utah began the game on a 9-4 run before Phoenix took an 11-10 lead on Kevin Durant’s layup at 8:21.

Phoenix had its biggest lead 11 points on Josh Okogie’s 3 about three minutes later. Then Utah tied the game on Kelly Olynyk’s tip-in at four seconds left.

Starting lineups

The Suns will start Devin Booker and Grayson Allen in the backcourt, Eric Gordon and Kevin Durant at forward, and Jusuf Nurkic in the middle.

The Jazz has a three-guard opening lineup of Jordan Clarkson running the point, rookie Keyonte George two-guard, and Ochai Agbaji, All-Star Lauri Markkanen and John Collins at forward.
