Defensive lineman L.J. Collier (biceps) and linebacker Josh Woods (ankle) did not participate for the third straight practice on Friday and both will be out for Sunday’s game against the Giants. It’s likely that rookie Dante Stills will be active in place of the injured Collier, while Krys Barnes and Owen Pappoe each could help offset Woods’ absence.

Safety Budda Baker was added to the injury report list with a hamstring injury. He was limited at practice and is now questionable for Sunday’s game.

Running back James Conner (calf) was listed as a full participant at Friday’s practice and has no injury designation. Offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum and defensive lineman Leki Fotu were limited and are questionable for Sunday.

The Giants announced the game status of some of their players, most notably left tackle Andrew Thomas is listed as questionable. On Wednesday it was reported that they were looking at different players to fill the role. Linebacker Azeez Ojulari, the brother of Cardinals linebacker, BJ, is doubtful.

THURSDAY REPORT
The practice report on Thursday featured no changes. Both defensive lineman L.J. Collier (biceps) and linebacker Josh Woods (ankle) did not practice. Offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum, running back James Conner, and defensive lineman Leki Fotu were limited participants.

For New York, both offensive lineman Andrew Thomas and big-time free agent acquisition in tight end Darren Waller practiced in a limited role on Thursday. The two were sidelined on Wednesday. Waller spoke to the media and said he’ll play on Sunday. Wide receiver Sterling Shepard was a new addition to the injury report, inactive at practice with a non-injury related status.

Following Sunday’s game against the Commanders, coach Jonathan Gannon said he felt his team exited pretty healthy. The injury report for Week 2 indicates that as well, with the exception of a few players.

Both defensive lineman L.J. Collier (biceps) and linebacker Josh Woods (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

Collier was on the field for 37 snaps and finished with two tackles against the Commanders. Leki Fotu, who had the fewest snaps among defensive linemen, was limited on Wednesday with an injured shoulder.

Woods, who was on the field for 39 snaps, had a one tackle on the afternoon.

Running back James Conner landed on the injury report as a limited participant, nursing a calf injury. The Cardinals workhorse was on the field for 52 of the 62 offensive plays, picking up 62 yards on the ground.

Offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum (hand) practiced on Wednesday in a limited role after missing the Washington game.

The Giants injury report features a lot more names than the Cardinals, including left tackle Andrew Thomas. During the game against the Cowboys, Thomas hurt his hamstring and the Giants have begun looking at options to fill his spot. Also at Wednesday’s practice, it was reported that cornerback Amani Oruwariye was carted off the field after sustaining a neck injury during a special teams drill.
