The Phoenix Suns made one of the boldest moves of the NBA offseason, acquiring former Washington Wizards star Bradley Beal.

Beal’s contract has been heavily criticized recently, with many saying he didn’t deserve a no-trade clause.

But Beal finally realized it was time to move on.

And now that he’ll finally play meaningful games — according to his own words — it seems like the start of the season cannot come soon enough for him.

In a video shared by the Suns (via ClutchPoints), Beal looks locked in and motivated, working on his craft ahead of the upcoming season.

Not so long ago, Beal was considered to be one of the best scorers and shooting guards in the league, but his reputation kind of took a toll over the past couple of years.

Injuries, a lack of interest in playing defense, and his failure to step up as the Wizards’ franchise player made people wonder whether he was worthy of that much money.

But the Suns got him in return for a reasonable trade package, not to mention the fact that they now have the most stacked starting lineup in the game.

This investment could prove to be dangerous and counter-productive for the team’s future if they fail to make the most of this championship window.

But this franchise has never won a ring, and owner Mat Ishbia is determined to do whatever it takes to change that.
