Glendale, Ariz.- After falling down one set to none, Embry-Riddle took the next three sets as the Eagles beat Arizona Christian 3-1 tonight at the Firestorm Recreation Center.
In the first set of the night, Embry-Riddle got out early to an 8-2 lead, however Arizona Christian used an 8-1 to take a 10-9 lead in the set. ACU used their momentum to go on and win the first set 25-21 over the Eagles.
No team was more than three points ahead at any point in the second set as the score was tied 12 times throughout. ERAU got a timely kill by Kelly Hansen (El Dorado Hills, Calif) and a block from Hansen and Maliah Juker (Ventura, Calif.) to close out the set 25-23.
