Martha Ruth Grubb | Obituaries

WINSLOW — Martha Ruth (Burns) Grubb, 73, of Winslow, died Aug. 19, 2023, at St. Charles Health Facility in Jasper.

She was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Clarksville, Texas to Benjamin and Effie (Hill) Burns.

She was self employed at Grubb Hardware store for over 40 years. She married Michael Grubb March 18, 1978.

She is survived by her husband; daughter, Melissa Sanders (Steve) of Birdseye; two granddaughters; sisters Theda Gerrish of Winchester, Kentucky and Becky Cederholm of Custer, South Dakota; brothers Bruce Burns of Dragoon, Arizona and John Burns of

Tucson, Arizona.

She is preceded in death by her son, Justin Grubb; parents, Benjamin and Effie Burns; and sister, Brenda Bass.

Lamb Basham Memorial Chapel is entrusted with care. Private family visitation and service are planned with Pastor Joseph Collins officiating.
